Saturday was ALL about FANTASTIC TEAMWORK from designers and volunteers – great FUN, wonderful SHOPPING and an abundance of TERRIFIC FRIENDS – old and new!

What exciting things will you be bringing to the Local Treasures one day market February 25?
FeliciTeas will have available a variety of baked delights and specialty teas at the Local Treasures one day market. Our baked delights will include Red Velvet Scones, Piña Colada Scones, Chocolate Zucchini Tea Bread, and Jasmine Tea Truffles, and flavored teas - Vanilla Chai Tea, Rooibos Cream Caramel Tea, Cinnamon Orange Spice Tea and Moroccan Mint Tea.

What inspires you to make what you make?
We enjoy sharing a nice cup of hot tea with our friends in an afternoon of joyous fellowship and fun. It is extra special when you can indulge in elegance from the elaborate table setting to the gourmet treats and exotic teas.

What is your most treasured art, craft, or design tool and why?
Susie: My oven is my most treasured tool. I can't wait to see what pops out of it!
Cindy: My electric tea kettle is my most treasured tool. In less than ten minutes it can transform an empty cup of loose tea leaves into a warm cup of peace, serenity and joy.

Spring is such a beautiful season in the south. What do you look forward to each spring?
Spring is our favorite season of the year; we look forward to the colors and the fragrances. Spring brings new life and hope to revive our spirits.

Tennis shoes, sandals, flip flips or barefoot?
We are definitely barefoot girls! Sometimes it depends on the situation, the time or the place, but we are country girls at heart and we love to be able to feel the sand between our toes. After all, it would be a shame to hide a nice salon pedicure.

HAPPY BLOGIVERSARY -- 1 year old!!

My first post went up one year ago!! Yea -- HAPPY BLOGIVERSARY TO ME!!

It's truly been a wild and CrAzY ride, one I could never have dream up! It's been a journey of a great idea and follow through. A journey of people helping people -- passing it forward -- and a journey jam packed full of stories and blessings only God could do! And LOL it's getting ready to end February 25 with one of the largest Show and Tell events around -- I LOVE IT!!

One day, one place -- packed full of the best of the best (40+) designers and services all under one roof and it's free to the community.

It's my goal to show as many people as I can -- all these beloved local treasures that I've found the last one and a half years. I know you will love them too -- and want to tell others about the unique local treasures you've see!

We are TWO weeks before the Local Treasures one day market, Oakdale Country Club -- 9:00 to 5:00

Alex, has received numerous awards and exhibited around the world. His studio shares space with the Art Trail Gallery in the old Kimbrell’s building at 135 South Dargan Street.
