What exciting things will you be bringing to the Local Treasures one day market February 25?
just the One purse is a purse that comes in three sizes, with interchangeable covers that change the look without moving your stuff. What started out as one purse for my own use has grown into three purse sizes, and over twenty covers. With spring right around the corner, I am introducing new bright, fresh and colorful covers. I am also introducing "The All-In-One Bag", which is a new purse size that really shows off the cover material and makes them pop.

What inspires you to make what you make?
One of life's biggest joys is creating "things", and for me, those things are purses. Not long ago I attended a purse party, only to leave disappointed. The purses were expensive, lacked quality and missed the practicality to easily find "stuff" inside the purse. Leaving the party, I decided that I would design a purse to meet my needs, have quality comparable to a high-end purse, would allow changing the look of the purse within seconds without buying another one, and would eliminate moving contents from one purse to another. After a month of trials and improvements, my vision was complete, and just the One purse is the result of that inspiration.

What is your most treasured art, craft, or design tool and why?
People are my most treasured design tool and inspiration. I think that most people are looking for the same thing; something that looks rich, great with any outfit in any season, yet with the least cost. My personality leads me to combine "practical" with "classy". It's fun and rewarding to design something that is looks good, is useful and yet affordable.

Spring is such a beautiful season in the south. What do you look forward to each spring?
Originally from the cold midwest, I cannot begin to tell you how much I love Florence. I look forward to early morning walks, warm sunny days and all the fresh smells of flowering plants and trees. LOVE IT!

Tennis shoes, sandals, flip flips or barefoot?
Depends on the activity, but I am a "sandals-girl"
